A must see event!

August the 5th is the biggest annual holiday in Kukljica, our Lady of the Snows day. That day each house offers the best wine and serves meat for the family and its guests. Almost all boats are solemnly flagged with boat flags and take locals and their guests to the holly mass in the nearby bay. The procession of boats follows the mass. All  day the celebration takes place in the village, including a traditional donkey racing and pulling rope contest. In the evening, there is a big music concert. The crowd is entertained long into the night by popular Croatian singers on the stage.
